Clump-forming, deep-rooted herbaceous edible perennial. Reaching 40cm/16inches high and 30cm/12 inches wide, prefers a sunny position and tolerant of any soil.
Edible leaves – mainly in Spring but if winters are not too harsh, they can be available year round. They are a great lemony addition to salads or cooking (soups, stews etc). Leaves should be used in moderation as they contain oxalic acid.
