Perennial salad herb used largely in Italy where it is known as Stridolo. A cultivated version of the wild flower Bladder Campion. It is hardy and easy to grow. Its long, thin lance-like leaves can be added to egg dishes, salads, risotto or even pizza toppings. Crop throughout summer and into autumn. Beautiful delicate white flowers liked by bees and other insects.
