Sculpit/Stridolo (Silene inflata)

Perennial salad herb used largely in Italy where it is known as Stridolo.  A cultivated version of the wild flower Bladder Campion.  It is hardy and easy to grow.  Its long, thin lance-like leaves can be added to egg dishes, salads, risotto or even pizza toppings. Crop throughout summer and into autumn.  Beautiful delicate white flowers liked by bees and other insects.
