Medicinally, Agrimony has long been used as a wash to help heal wounds as it staunches bleeding and encourages clot formation. It is slightly bitter and astringent and is a gentle tonic for the digestive system. Also good for sore throats.
Aerial parts of this plant are used when in flower in summer.
